Job title:  Project Manager CDM  (Code 4-PnD)

Key Result Area

  • Managing the CDM project cycle of CAMI clients
  • Coordination with CAMI Implementation team for the successful registration of various projects (PDD, HCA, Validation, Registration)
  • Significant interaction with our client database, as well as maintaining good client relationships and  furthering business development.
  • Keeping updaed and brining new technical information regarding CDM to CAMI Business Development team.
  • Working with project partners and third parties to prepare project validation.
  • Data analysis and gathering

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS, QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  •   Masters degree or equivalent in environmental sciences/engineering or a related degree

  •   Experience in developing PDDs and methodologies as well as assisting project developers through the CDM cycle in preferred but not necessary.

  •  Strong technical skills and experiences in, or familiarity with the energy, waste ot industrial sectors.

  •  Technical and / or project management experiences in the energy, waste or industrial sector.

  •  Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  •  Ability to work as a part of a team as well as independently

  •  Ability to manage own work effectively and priorities tasks

  •  Good working knowledge of all Microsoft Office Applications as well as project management tools

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Excellent English Language skills. Additional languages are a definite advantage.

  • Understanding the current position of allocated projects and assist the projects in developing their monitoring system

  • Collect data and records and provide some QA/QC and cross checks to assess suitability for CDM

REGULAR DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop, implement and maintain strategy as per the CAMI Management
  • Help in work plan for the current CDM projects.
  • Visit different Websites about CDM esp. UNFCCC website to know and apprise the Management of latest trends in CDM and JI Projects.
  • Analyzes and prepares reports summarizing research methodology and findings / recommendations.
  • Establishes and maintains research database.
  • Coordinate with other staff and provide facilitation services reconciliation, collection and reporting project activities of all data/ information about CDM activity and new trends there of.
  • Assist his supervisor in preparing project progress reports, as well as data collection of the CDM projects and related facets.
  • Produce progress reports and meet given targets.
  • Perform assigned functions related to research, monitoring and evaluation of CDM projects.

Research Associates:( Job Ref no : PnD 004)

The position of Research Associate requires to  participate in the design, execution, analysis and evaluation of CDM projects.  Following should be the key attributes for the holders of this position.

  • High personal motivation, self-management, and detail-orientation; ability to take responsibility in meeting deadlines and making progress without direct supervision.
  • Strong spoken and written communications skills.
  • Capacity and will to learn new research methods, and work routines quickly.
  • A working knowledge of process flow of CDM and related documentation like PIN, PDD etc.
  • Motivation to engage in and manage a wide range of intellectual work, ranging from preparing documentation  to analyzing proposed data and presenting data in an organized way.
